Rude owner and the bathrooms are disgusting. He yelled at the woman in front of us and told her to “learn to listen” after asking a question!

Horrible service! Restaurant was busy, so we asked how long the wait would be, and immediately was met with a rude response. We chose to brush it off because people have bad days, but when we asked whether we would be waited on or whether we should order inside, he responded with "I already told you!" When told him he would not be getting our service, he yells at us (in front of all the other customers) "you just need to learn to listen!". Turns out this was the owner of the restaurant, and the whole time he refused to wear a mask. If you are in ouray, go spend your dollars elsewhere.

We stayed 2 days in Ouray and our hotel included breakfast at Timberline. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning walk from our hotel. The food was good and the service welcoming.

Go for the Sandwiches and stay for the Donuts..if there are any left !!!

This place has an amazing burger. And the staff made everyone feel welcome, super friendly. Absolutely would recommend them.

This is a wonderful place to get something to eat there in ouray. They offer breakfast and lunch. I had the avocado Turkey sandwich grilled with potatoe salad. This is a amazing sandwich but I am sure no matter what you order you wont be hungry when you leave.

Friend staff and one of two places in town that serves breakfast. Their Mac n cheese burger is phenomenal with homemade Mac n cheese. Really cool atmosphere. Their home made donuts are delicious as well.

Simple and delicious menu at great prices. I got the pastrami Reuben and the serving size was huuuuugge.

Nice folks, but the Greek salad was bleh. Nothing special. Small, boring, used Italian dressing. And saw waiter drop someone's bag of chips on the floor, picked up put right back on top of sandwich. Yuck.

Only serving burnt drip coffee and donuts. No kitchen whatsoever. Rude staff.

Great service and the food was amazing! Must try the donuts... Best I have had! Great little patio to sit outside and enjoy the views whole eating.

I sure am lucky to live in Ouray, Colorado. Why? Because I have access to some of the most wonderful restaurants like Timberline Deli. They are only open for breakfast and lunch with a short break (closed) between the two. They get up early every morning to make fresh biscuits and doughnuts and let me tell you the doughnuts are to die for. Both menus for dinner and lunch provide a lil' something for everyone. They also have the best selection of fountain drinks and Blue Bell Ice cream. If you ever stop in for some good eats, be sure to tell Robert and Cathy I sent you!

Terrible service. The “owner” is extremely rude! He has major attitude problems. From telling me and my dad to calm down rudely when we simply asked when is our food going to be ready, to slamming the door in another customers face. The food was extremely late and he closed his restaurant 2 hours early when there was people that had been waiting in line for more than 20 minutes. Terrible place, DO NOT GO!

Food great, quick. People friendly and always ask the right questions when ordering. Ordered eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast. Eggs done perfect, got bacon which was yummy, hash browns (they are the only place in Ouray that does them, toast lightly buttered everything was perfect. One of my favorite places in town. Love the owners.

Have to get here early if you want doughnuts. Usually a line, but the worth the wait.

The breakfast was ok, but the homemade donuts are amazing! My wife had the chocolate glazed and I had a cronut. The biscuits were good but the gravy was bland. The hash browns were also bland and kind of soggy.

You will not be disappointed with them! Gigantic portion of fresh burgers and fries! I love their burger and it is amazing! I couldn't finish my food so make sure you come starving and you would be very much satisfied!

Terrific lunch fare. My wife had the "Elvis"...a burger with three kinds of cheese, bacon and avocado on a buttered bun with fries. I had the special of the day - Steak salad with 6oz of tender meat on a large bed of greens. The steak was cooked to perfection....medium-rare. My wife thought this was one of the best burgers she'd ever had. Nice couple runs the place. We recommend it!

Food was okay. Coffee was weak. Staff was very rude. Called me a liar and said I didn’t order it “to go” when, in fact, I most certainly had. Ridiculous. A couple days earlier when we tried to eat there, an employee got into a yelling match with another customer, which cleared out the place. Go to Camp-Bell’s for breakfast instead!

Several families waiting in line for breakfast. After a 20 minute wait, staff close the door and told everyone who waiting in line that they were choosing to close the kitchen. Would reopen in a couple of hours for lunch. No smiles no service. I would try one of the better recommended breakfast places in Ouray.

Really delicious food and a great view by the window!! I'll be back for sure!!

Best. Donut. Of. My. Life. Also everything else we had was nutso tasty! I don’t know the next time I’ll be in that part of the country, but I’d drive an hour out of my way for another one of those donuts.

Very disappointing experience! Food was reminiscent of a title 9 cafeteria BEFORE Michelle Obama and one employee refused to wear a mask while preparing OR delivering food! And he was ugly!!!!!!!!

We showed up on a Saturday at 10 am and the shop was staffed and full of pastries. However, they refused us service (we are Hispanics) and they said they were closed despite having patrons seated outside.

Good food, nice service, it’s a little overpriced and my wrap fell apart when I picked it up. Still good, nonetheless

The deli was wonderful and the staff friendly. They make homemade donuts and the only downside was they sold out right before we arrived. They are open for breakfast so we will try again. They have a nice patio where we enjoyed a drink and ice cream.

Super cute place! The homemade donuts were excellent - good breakfast options (ate here before completing the perimeter trail). One of the only eating establishments without flies everywhere. Will go back next time in town.

The “homemade donuts” sign caught my attention... came at 10am and there wasn’t much variety. Got a chocolate crossaint that was dry and crispy... for $4.10. Felt it was over priced and not worth it.

Awful place. Owner does not wear mask and gets way too close to customers. Managment absolutely chaotic, rude attitude and low quality food. I am reporting this establishment to the City.

Under the Covid restrictions the employees did an excellent job on getting the to go orders out in a very timely matter. Everyone that worked there very friendly and accommodating

Fabulous Breakfast! My daughter & I eaten here every morning this week. Omlets are amazing! Biscuits & gravy also very good. The staff has been great.

We received a free breakfast coupon here from the Matterhorn Inn during COVID-19. The selection was short but sweet. It had a range of available items, as well as complementary drinks. They offer takeout or dine in with limitations. I would highly recommend the food! The doughnuts and cinnamon rolls are delicious, and the scrambled egg plate is a perfect size for breakfast. If you're looking to support local businesses, I would highly recommend Timberline Deli of Ouray!

Friendly staff, neat building and wonderful baked goods. Fall short on the breakfast menu and taste. Several hotels in town utilize the deli for their breakfast. Not bad but not something to look forward to. Was hoping for more but free with a stay is free. Not sure I’d come in outside of getting it with the room.

This place is cute, and you can tell the owner runs his business with care! Each time we've been there he's been working right on the front line. Also, this is a little mountain town deli. This isn't 5 star dining people - don't be so whiny. We enjoyed our food, it was clean, and the people were kind. If you're looking for more than that, get over y'self!

The food was delicious and the service was quick, even though it was busy. Great costumer service, they were all very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Oof. Not so great. That goes for food as well as service, though the latter is better than the former. Good for people watching. This place could be something special if they only had someone skilled in the kitchen!

The owner or manager was very impatient. We ordered at the counter and sat to wait for our food. FOOD was very mediocre and my chicken salad wrap was dry with only a few bits of chicken. WE also got a bit. Both sandwiches came with a tiny bag of chips. My sons grilled cheese had French fries. THE COST WITH THRE E DRINKS and tip Was $40. TERRIBLE VALUE for your money when food is meh... Also the server came out multi times without a mask.

Looks can be deceiving.The place is cute but that’s the only good thing I can say about this place. The service is poor and the food lacks flavor. We stopped here for breakfast at 10am. Maybe the lunch menu is better? This place was just as a big disappointment as a lukewarm cup of coffee. Speaking of lukewarm -the gravy.... don’t even get me started. Since when are biscuits and gravy served cold????? This is news to me.Ps. And yes. We. Are. Still. Hungry. En route to McDonald’s . Thanks.

Menu needs to state breakfast until 11am. Cute place. Plenty of seating in and out. Came at 12:30 for lunch.
